Course Syllabus
Abstract
The course is designed to build the core skills needed to succeed in product management and marketing for digital and technology-driven products. It covers the entire product lifecycle - from market research and idea generation to product launch and scaling.
The program is centered around a project where you will develop a go-to-market strategy for a new product. Along the way, you will complete practical assignments to apply key product management and product marketing tools in real-world scenarios. You will develop essential skills in strategic decision-making, market analysis, value proposition design, and go-to-market strategy development. Throughout the course, you will learn how to conduct product research, test hypotheses, and analyze target audiences using the Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBD) framework. We will also cover how to evaluate the potential of new product ideas, prioritize features using frameworks such as RICE and the Kano Model, and analyze markets and competitors to identify growth opportunities. In addition, you will learn how to define product metrics, interpret data, and use insights to make informed, data-driven decisions. By the end of the course, you will have a structured understanding of how successful products are built, launched, and scaled and the practical skills needed to contribute effectively within product teams.
