Directions

From the metro stop 'Aviamotornaya', walk along Aviamotornaya Ulitsa, then turn left on Energeticheskaya Street. Walk for 5-7 minutes on Energeticheskaya until you reach the campus of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute.

From the metro stop 'Lefortovo' go left to Soldatskaya Ulitsa, passing by ‘Music and Pedagogical College’ and the stadium of the the Moscow Power Engineering Institute towards the intersection with Energeticheskaya Ulitsa.

Infrastructure

Rooms

There are 22 rooms on each floor, each of which is equipped for two people.

Each room has a refrigerator, a bunk bed, two desks, 2-3 chairs, a three-section wardrobe, two bedside tables, and two fluorescent lamps.

Students are responsible for cleaning their rooms themselves.

Bathrooms

Each floor has 12 toilet rooms and 2 washrooms with eight sinks and 2 washing machines.

There are two showers, one for men and one for women, which are located on the first floor.

The toilets, showers and corridors are cleaned twice a day.

Kitchens

There are two kitchens per floor, each with three electric cooktops, two tables for food-preparation, three sinks, a purifier, a microwave oven and an electric kettle.

The kitchens are open 24 hours a day.

The kitchens are cleaned daily by cleaning company representatives.

Laundry rooms, ironing equipment, bedclothes

Each student is given a set of bedclothes, including sheets, a blanket cover, pillowcase, towel, wool blanket, pillow, coverlet and mattress. Bedding is changed every seven days.

There are irons and ironing boards on each floor.

There are storage rooms in the building (for bikes, sport equipment etc.)

Study rooms

There are rooms for individual study on each floor. These rooms are equipped with tables, chairs, internet and electricity outlets.

Internet

The dormitory has had a computer network since May 2012. The Internet is free.

Free WiFi is available.

There are internet outlets in each room.
 

FOOD SERVICE

There are supermarkets Diksi, Magnit, Magnolia, as well as Domino's Pizza and DoDo Pizza within walking distance.

Sports and recreation

There is a gym on the first floor of the building.

There is a recreation room on the second floor that has a ping-pong table.

On Saturdays the students gather at the Cinema Club.

There is street exercise equipment in the dormitory courtyard.

Security and entry regulations

Private security supervises the dorm.

The guard monitors what happens inside the facilities, and video cameras have been installed along the dormitory’s perimeters.

The dormitory is open 24/7 for HSE students.

Parents and guests are allowed in the dorm daily between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
