Internet in HSE Dormitories

All HSE dormitories have both wired and wireless (Wi-Fi) internet access, though wired internet is the main way to connect. There are network outlets in each room except Dormitory 7.

Wi-Fi access under the SSID 'HSE' is available in all locations except Dormitory 7. Residents are able to use Wi-Fi to connect to both the internet, as well as HSE's internal information resources.

To connect your devices, you must go through the authentication procedure by entering your password when connecting. More detailed information can be found at the information stands set up inside each dormitory or from the dorm’s front desk.

You can buy and connect your own modems for wireless internet access under the following conditions:

• the device only transmits a signal within the dormitory’s premises
• the device does not interfere with the building's wired or wireless network
