Directions
The dormitory is situated in a five-minute walk from the railway station. The trip to Moscow will take 12-30 minutes, depending on the destination station.
How to reach the dormitory from Moscow:
1) by bus or shuttle bus (marshrutka)
Take a bus or shuttle bus №454 from Ploshchad Kiyevskogo Vokzala (metro station ‘Kievskaya’) to the last stop ‘Vosmoy Mikrorayon’. From there it is a two-minute walk to the dormitory.
2) by train
There are railway stations not far from the metro stations ‘Kuntsevskaya’, ‘Fili’, ‘Begovaya’, ‘Belorusskaya’. You can take the train to ‘Odintsovo’ station and turn left after the exit.
Infrastructure
Flats/Rooms
On each floor there are four three-room flats and a one-room flat.
The number of students in the room depends on its area: 26-27 sq m for 4 persons; 18.5 sq m for 3 persons; 12-13 sq m for 2 persons. Master’s students live in one-room flats (room area 13 sq m).
The rooms have beds (with mattresses), desks, chairs, a wardrobe with three sections, bookshelves, bedside tables, folding desks.
Students are responsible for cleaning their rooms themselves.
Bathrooms
There is a bathroom and a separate WC in each three-room flat. There is a bathroom in each one-room flat.
Kitchens
There is a kitchen in each flat.
The kitchen in a three-room flat has two refrigerators, an electric cooker with an oven, a table, a counter, six chairs, shelves for dishes.
The kitchen in a one-room flat has a refrigerator, an electric cooker with an oven, a table, a counter, four chairs, shelves for dishes.
Laundry rooms, ironing equipment, bedclothes
There are laundry rooms on each floor, 2 washing machines in each. They can be used 24/7.
Ironing boards are available in each flat. If you want an iron, ask the administrator.
Students are provided with: a pillow, a pillow cover, a mattress, a mattress cover, a woolen blanket, a bedspread, and a set of bedclothes: a sheet, a blanket cover, a pillowcase, and a towel.
Bedclothes are changed weekly.
Internet
Free wired Internet is available. There is one Internet outlet in each room. The speed of Internet connection is 5 megabytes per second for one outlet.
Study rooms
There are rooms for individual study on each floor.
These rooms are equipped with tables, chairs, electric sockets and WiFi.
Library
There is a small library on the second floor. It includes textbooks and manuals. In addition to textbooks there is a large collection of fiction here.
Medical aid

Sports and recreation
There is a common room on the first floor. The room has a TV, a ping-pong table and a piano. Students can relax and watch television as well as attend dance classes there.
There are also two gyms on the the second floor.
In addition, there is street exercise equipment in the dormitory courtyard.
Students can play football, volleyball, basketball, and badminton. The administrator gives out all balls, shuttlecocks, and rackets.
The student council also organizes different events, including speed-dating, film screening, guitar playing, donor events and many others.
Students also take part in communication games, team building projects and different competitions. Different clubs, dedicated to sports, board games, dancing and languages meet in the hall.
ATM
There are Sberbank and VTB-24 ATMs on the first floor.
Parking for cars and bicycles
There is a parking for cars and a garage for bicycles near the dorm.
Security and entry regulations
Private security supervises the dorm.
The guard monitors what happens inside the facilities, and video cameras have been installed near the dormitory’s entrance and along its perimeters.
The dormitory is open 24/7 for HSE students.
Parents and guests are allowed in the dorm daily between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
