Congratulations to colleagues on the release of new articles!

Roman Abramov's articles in co-authorship with Oxana Mikhaylova have been published in peer reviewed journals

The international peer reviewed journal "Plos One", which is on the List A compiled by the HSE, published an article by Leading Research Fellow of our Laboratory Roman Abramov and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Modern Childhood Research, Senior Lecturer at the Department for Social Institutions Analysis Oxana Mikhaylova "Exploring the ethics of political PR professionals using moral foundations theory".

This paper offers a multidimensional theoretical scheme to analyze professional ethics in the field of political public relations. Authors suggest investigating the decisions of these professionals using moral foundations theory. The prospects of the proposed theoretical approach are demonstrated on 16 interviews with post-soviet Russian political PR industry leaders that were conducted from March 2018 to April 2020.

This paper makes a critical contribution to research on professional ethics in political public relations, and it provides important insight into the specifics of moral reasoning in the Russian political PR industry that is insufficiently described in the current literature.

Another publication by colleagues on the topic "Social Contexts of ICT Reception in 1990—2000s: The Case of Russian PR Industry" was published in the journal "The Monitoring of Public Opinion: Economic and Social Changes", included in List C

This article suggests the historical and sociological description of the technologies role in the professionalization of PR industry in Russia during the first years of post-Soviet period. For this purpose, the interview materials with the influential professionals in this field are used and the scientific descriptions of the technologies invasion in professional and non-professional life of Russians. Findings demonstrate that during 1990-s Russian PR industry was rapidly absorbing new ICT technologies and fastly adapted these tools for their professional tasks. Authors come to the conclusion that technological innovations in the professionals day-to-day life helped to increase the professional prestige among clients and the ordinary people in the country; fastened the communication speed and facilitated the formation of the social relationships with the foreign partners and clients.

We sincerely congratulate our colleagues and wish them new creative successes!
