Open Doors Day of the English-language Master's Programme 'Science, Technology and Innovation Management and Policy’ of the Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge (ISSEK) was held online on May 29 2023. Academic Supervisor – Distinguished Professor Dr. Dirk Meissner, Associate Professor Mikhail Gershman, Professor Alexey Bereznoy, and Manager Liana Sarkisyan talked about the programme structure, alumni career trajectories and admission process. Besides, students Anastas Karagadayev and Anna Mun also presented the MA Programme and answered applicants’ questions.

The course disciplines initially focus on management in the field of STI, technology and innovation policy. The programme includes compulsory disciplines (advancing the most important competencies in management of science, technology and innovation) and elective courses (allowing to choose the trajectory of management or policy).

Professors emphasized the MP’s main advantages:
- highly renowned Russian and foreign professors, researchers, businessmen teach at the programme, combining theory with analysis of specific cases and practical classes;
- most of the courses are author's, based on the lecturers’ unique personal experience and current research results;
- the language of instruction is English. It is an undeniable advantage for career development at the international level.
Upon completion of the program, graduates have the opportunity to build a career in public management of STI, as well as in academia and corporate business.
Students Anastas Karagadayev and Anna Mun shared their experiences studying in an international environment together with students and teachers from different countries. Anastas and Anna believe that acquired theoretical knowledge can help them in implementation of practice-oriented projects, and broad their career perspectives. The programme is particularly beneficial for those who want to develop business projects. Anna plans to fulfill her dream and open her own biomedical research laboratory.
Admissions campaign takes place between 19th of June and 25th of July.
Enrollment is based on the results of the portfolio competition (CV + motivation letter) and face-to-face interview.
