DeCAn lab organized a course of seminars on October 1-2, 2018 where the members of our labaratory talked about their recent research results and further potential directions. On October 1-2, the International Conference “Formal Philosophy” was held in the Higher School of Economics. This conference was organized by the International Laboratory for Logic, Linguistics and Formal Philosophy.

Russian Supercomputing Days is a key Russian supercomputer conference with international participation that annually gathers in Moscow the leading scientists and experts in high-performance computing and computer science. This year, the staff of the International Laboratory for Supercomputer Atomistic Modelling and Multi-scale Analysis took part in the conference (Nikolay Kondratyuk, Vsevolod Nikolskiy, Genri Norman, Alexander Semenov, Alexey Timofeev and Mikhail Khalilov).

A group of laboratory staff headed by Professor Fuad Aleskerov returned from the Arctic University of Norway (UiT). The HSE scholars and students participated in the first field course which was held from September 24 to September 28, 2018 as part of a three-year project on international cooperation between NRU HSE and the Arctic University of Norway (UiT).
