On November 28, a seminar was held on the topic "Water regime of trees in arid conditions – mechanisms of survival and extinction".
On November 28, 2023, the results of the Russian Science Foundation competition were announced: the application submitted by the Laboratory of Social and Cognitive Informatics received support for the year 2024.
The work "Topic models with elements of neural networks: investigation of stability, coherence, and determining the optimal number of topics" was prepared within the framework of the QTM project "Improving the Methodology of Automatic Text Analysis".

On November 24, 2023, Xenia Leontyeva, a research assistant at the Laboratory of Social and Cognitive Informatics of the Higher School of Economics and an associate professor at the Department of film producing at the St. Petersburg Institute of Cinema and Television, spoke at the "Sorochkinsky Readings 23" conference at the State Institute of Art Studies of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
From November 20th to November 24th, 2023, a seminar on "Mathematical Modeling of Materials: Modern Research and Training of Specialists" took place at Sirius University of Science and Technology. On November 21st, Sergey Koltsov, a leading researcher from the Laboratory of Social and Cognitive Informatics, gave a presentation at the event.
Leading Research Fellow of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration of the HSE University Evgeny Diskin made a presentation on the topic «Internet Platform and Digital Sovereignty» at the Conference, which took place at the Moscow State Law University named after O.E. Kutafin (MGUA), on November 22, 2023.

On November 16th, 2023, the Head of Social and Cognitive Informatics Laboratory, Dr Olessia Koltsova, delivered an open lecture as an Oxford Martin Visiting Fellow for the Oxford Martin Programme on Misinformation, Science & Media at Oxford University.
