On May 16, research fellow Aisylu Atayeva and research assistant Violetta Khomyakova conducted an interview with Anatolie Chekalenko, a leading specialist in the Sustainable Development Services Group of the Business Solutions and Technologies Management Consulting Department, a lecturer at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the St. Petersburg School of Social Sciences at the HSE.

On May 14th, the second methodological online seminar on diary studies with regular measurements in psychology was held at the Laboratory of Social and Cognitive Informatics.

The ninth ICSM2024-ICQMT2024 International Conference (Fethiye, Turkey, April 27 – May 4, 2024) became an interdisciplinary forum for fruitful exchange of knowledge about the latest experimental results and theoretical achievements in the field of superconductivity, magnetism, innovative advanced materials, quantum science and technology, and their applications, including related technologies.

On May 8, 2024, the third seminar "Observations of ecosystem flows of heat, moisture and greenhouse gases using an EX on the territory of the Central Forest Reserve" was held.

The Journal of Cultural Analytics has published an article by Xenia Leontyeva, Olessia Koltsova, and Deb Verhoeven, dedicated to the relationship between women on and behind the screen in Russian cinema and the film admissions.

On Friday, April 26, the last day of the 13th LCSR International Workshop,  Ronald Fisher  (Instituto D'Or de Pesquisa e Ensino, Brazil) presented an honorary paper “How Important are Values for Well-Being? A Multi-Level Meta-Analysis Across 111 Societies”.

On April, 25th at the 13th LCSR International Workshop Boris Sokolov (LCSR, Russia) presented the study "Demographic, Contextual, and Attitudinal Factors of Attrition in Online Panels".

On April 27, 2024, a film discussion was held on the problems of representation of people with disabilities. The event was held within the framework of a two-day festival prepared by the team of the GES-2 House of Culture and representatives of the International Disability Film Festival "Breaking down barriers".

‘Mirror Laboratories’ is one of the flagship programmes of the HSE University aimed at developing domestic scientific partnerships. During the implementation of the project, 41 research projects were initiated in partnership with 30 regional universities and scientific organisations. A series of round tables timed to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the ‘Mirror Laboratories’ project, were held at the HSE University on April 24–25, 2024.
