Assessment Elements
Examination (1st year 2nd module)
Examination is conducted in 2 parts: in written and in oral forms and the grade is calculated as follows: Examination = 0,6*Final written assignment + 0,4* Oral examination
The final written assignment is held for all students of the group at the same time within a period of 10 days before the exam session. It may consist of several parts. Oral examination is conducted during the exam session as a series of individual discussions with every student. Students are required to enter the examination room one by one (unless specified by the teachers, the order is to be decided by the students) and complete several tasks. There will be no extra time for preparation once the student enters the examination room. Students are not allowed to carry any learning materials into the examination room.

Classwork for Kanji
Classwork for Kanji is calculated as average of grades awarded for various vocabulary and kanji quizzes conducted in class during the course of semester. All absences will lower the grade by 0,2-point grade for every 10% of missed classes. Arriving to class later than 10 minutes after the start will be considered as absence.
Students are expected to come to class prepared and having completed all previously assigned homework. Homework is usually not graded, but if the instructor discovers absence of homework, student will be graded with an additional 0 (zero).
