Abstract

Research Seminar focuses on the analysis of modern markets from two perspectives: economic sociology and UX research. This course will combine theoretical discussions with practical assignments. As part of the sociological perspective (1st and 3rd modules), based on academic articles, we are going to discuss sociological approaches to the study of different markets (their structures, institutions, participants) and the characteristics of modern neoliberal capitalism, as well as students’ research projects (the proposals) in order to develop the course papers and final thesis. In module two and four, students will be introduced to basic UX and CX research methods, conduct their own UX research, and create a CJM as well.
