VII Oriental Perspective Scientific Student Conference

The conference topics cover issues related to the development of Japan, China, the Korean Peninsula, and Arab countries. Individual sections on the Middle and Far East will focus on the following subject areas: history, culture, politics, economics, international relations. On the first day of the conference, May 22, 2020, a round table East - West: Politics, Economy, Society will be held in English; on the second day of May 23, 2020, the meetings will be in Russian.

Applications for participation in the conference are accepted online until May 14, 2020. The application contains information about the author (full name, year of study, faculty / degree programme, name of the educational institution), title and abstract of the report of no more than 2 thousand characters, list of references and sources. Applications can be submitted both in Russian and in English. The conference organizing committee reserves the right to reject applications without stating reasons.

The preliminary programme of the conference will be published on the School of Asian Studies website no later than May 16, 2020. The conference will be held online. All links will be sent to participants.

Authors of reports recognized as the best at the end of the conference will receive certificates and the opportunity to publish their articles in the collection Eastern Perspective.
