Congratulations to our graduates of the double degree program on the successful defence of the master theses and the award of a master's degree

On October, 21 students, who spend half of the Masters program in HSE and half in Tilburg University, defended their theses in front of the HSE committee and successfully graduated, receiving Double Degree.

We congratulate our graduates on the successful defence of their master theses and wish them nothing but greater heights in their endeavors to come. 

We would like to congratulate all the students for their interesting and intriguing work. Their thesis’ topics were quite diverse and had new study ideas and approaches. For example, Alexey Kharitonenko worked on the topic "To be fair or Not Harmful? Moral domains and their relations to cooperation at work". Cassandra Gruetzner has written a paper, "The Role of the Architect of Choice in Assessing the Autonomy and Acceptability of Nudges." 

Sabelnikova Natalia examined "The role of self-esteem in career success". Tittor Jannes, on the other hand, did not talk about personal success, but about charity. His thesis was "Mood elevation and charity: compassion and warm charisma." All the presentations inspired questions and discussions. And the following points for further research emerged in the process.

After the defence, everyone was in good spirits. Chief Academic Supervisor Alexander Tatarko praised the creative approaches in the students' research. At the end, the students, who were not in Moscow for a long time because of the pandemic, very touchingly thanked their teachers and said that they miss them.

Perhaps they will meet again when the pandemic is over to continue working together.
