Emmanuel Boadu, Ghana

Ghanaian student from Kumasi and currently studying at HSE's master's programme in Applied Social Psychology. So far the course that I find the most useful for my future career is Organisational Psychology. I am a proud product from University of Cape Coast (Early childhood department). My aim is to become a Psychology lecturer at UCC.
Janis Starostnieks, Latvia

My interests are related to traffic safety, traffic psychology and human behavior in general. The Applied Social Psychology program in Higher School of Economics offers outstanding course with modules that match my interests and my needs in developing skills needed for conducting my intended multi dimensional empirical researches.

Looking forward for the many interesting courses: “Neuroeconomics”, “Social Network Analysis”, “Social Influence”, “Behavioural Economics” and many more!
Sindy Amoako, Ghana

I had my Bachelor degree in English and Psychology at the University of Ghana. My current professional interests are revolving around the fields of organizational, clinical and cross-cultural psychology.

The course I have found most interesting so far is Cross-cultural Psychology of Organisational behavior as it exposes how to relate with people from various cultures to promote work effectiveness. In the near future I hope to proceed to other fields of psychology and to have a career in clinical/counselling psychology, while having a strong background in organisational psychology.
David Nevo, Israel

I am an Applied Social Psychology student with a Bachelor degree in Psychology and a minor in government. My current interest lies in the field of psychological economics and irrational decisions making.

The course that attracted me the most is Cross-cultural psychology, teaching the basics of modern theoretical and applied psychology of culture. My goals are a future Ph.D in psychological economics and opening my own consulting firm.
Ebenezer Wepari, Ghana

I obtained my Bachelor degree in Psychology at the University of Ghana, Legon. At HSE I have developed much interest in the "Cross-cultural Psychology of Organizational Behavior" course. My current masters' thesis topic is "Social and Psychological factors that motivates career choice among high school students"

I intend pursuing a career related to Social economics and Politics, using my training in Psychology to understand better the phenomenon of social deprivation.
Brenda Eleblu, Ghana

My previous background is in English and Psychology from the University of Ghana (Ghana's premium university). Currently I am interested in consumer behavior and impulsiveness. My research is geared towards understanding the relation between our self-control as humans, our affective state (emotions) and impulsive buying behavior.

I am looking forward to becoming an Industrial/ Organizational Psychologist in the near future. In view of this aspiration my favorite courses are Cross-cultural psychology, Work and organization and Leadership and organization. These courses have equipped me with the basic and background knowledge of my future career path. I want to be an I/O psychologist not only to serve my nation but the world at large and to help make the world a better place.
