Congratulations on the defense of term papers on the program Applied Social Psychology

On June 16, 2022, students of the Applied Social Psychology program defended their term papers.

Congratulations to the first-year students on the successful defense of term papers! Various and interesting works were presented for the defense, reflecting the theoretical foundations and designs of future research.

For example, James Dickey studied “The Effects of Musical Tempo on Arousal and Subsequent Sexually-Aggressive Thoughts”, Maria Kazurova develops an intriguing topic “Psychological and social factors of Evil’s Attractiveness: Fictional Villains and Real-Life Villains”.

Albina Gallyamova presented her design for the study of “Personal Political Engagement in Russia: The Role of System Justification, Pluralistic Ignorance, and Perceived Community Culture”. Alexandra Lastun presented her term paper “Ego Development and Life Meaning: Their Contribution to Eudaimonic Well-being”. Ralina Fatykhova studies “The Relationship between the Job-Education Mismatch and Individual and Organizational Outcomes in the Public Sector”. Ghenwa Gharibah presented her approach to the topic “The Power of Words: The Effect of Supportive Communication on Refugees’ Acculturation and Wellbeing”.

We wish our students enjoy their summer vacations. We hope that next year they continue working on their topics and successful defense of theses next year!
