Hounds of the Baskervilles from radiant plastic will be printed on the 3D printer of Fablab (HSE Prototyping Centre) at the ‘THANK YOU, LETO’ English culture festival. The festival will take place at the Sokolniki Park on August 23.

The hounds will be printed during breaks of Moscow’s first human foosball tournament championship, which is also taking place at the Fablab. Foosball (also table football, or kicker) was first played by using miniature football players fixed on rods mounted to the wall of the ‘stadium’, with players moving them using handles. At the Fablab site, real people will play, but like the miniature tabletop players, they can only move along the ‘handrails’ that partition the field.

At the ‘THANK YOU, LETO’ festival a three-metre 3D replica of London’s famous 30 St Mary Axe (‘the Gherkin) will also be constructed.
