is HSE University’s ranking in terms of salaries of graduates employed in the field of economics and finance. The ranking was prepared by Superjob.ru research centre based on a study of the average income of young professionals who graduated from 2013–2018.

According to the study, the average salary of HSE University graduates is 110 thousand rubles a month. HSE University has been the leader of this ranking for several years running.

HSE University cooperates with more than 800 partner companies, many in which HSE graduates hold executive positions. Most students begin their careers while still at university. Recently, the university has been actively expanding its scope of internship opportunities, which have proven to be quite popular with students. After all, a line on one’s CV about completing an internship at a reputable company can be quite beneficial for one’s future job search.

HSE University has maintained its leading position in the ranking compiled by the Russian Council for International Affairs. The ranking evaluated the websites of 65 Russian universities. HSE was awarded 104 points out of 108, increasing its position by 11 points on last year. HSE's closest rival ranked a further 17 points behind, which is a larger gap than previously.

The July edition of the Webometrics world university ranking has been published, and the Higher School of Economics has moved from 790th place to 781st overall and from 72nd place to 8th for openness.

HSE’s Ranking in SSRN: October 2012

The Social Science Research Network (SSRN) publishes a monthly ranking of socio-economic research centers and universities. As of November 1st, 2012, the Higher School of Economics is in 2nd place in terms of number of papers published over the last 12 months. A year ago the HSE was 85th according to this indicator.

On October 18th 2011, as part of the preliminary programme of the 3rd International Conference of the Russian Association of Higher Education Researchers, Professor Nian Cai Liu, author of the world-renowned Shanghai University Ranking, gave a lecture at the HSE.
