At the same time, the smallest, practically nonexistent growth is expected to happen in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Kurgan Region.

These data are reported by scientists from the HSE Institute of Regional Studies and Urban Planning who analyzed the socio-economic development strategies of Russian regions. For their study, they used primary documents that defined the regions’ long-term development prospects and ensured coordination with the budgetary priorities of long-term opportunities and program activities.
