The 29th Vojtěch Jarník International Mathematical Competition has taken place in Ostrava, Czech Republic with HSE being represented by a team of six students from the Faculty of Computer Science and the Faculty of Mathematics.
From March 31st to April 6th, 2019, the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition finals took place in Washington, DC. 124 teams from 90 countries took part in the event. The memorandums by the HSE Faculty of Law team were acknowledged to be among the best of the competition.

Students of the HSE Faculty of Law won the regional round of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition, which is organized by the European Law Students Association with the support of the World Trade Organization. The final round will be held in Geneva in June.
LG Electronics and the Higher School of Economics have announced the launch of a special collaborative educational project. A new computer classroom will provide students of engineering, industrial design, and computer programming the opportunity to study the most modern tools and methods of design using equipment designed for rapidly developing disciplines and the higher technological demands of their results. On December 13, Russia’s first ever Arabic Language Competition took place in Moscow with the support of the Qatar Embassy. Three students – two from HSE and one from MGIMO – won one-year scholarships at Qatar University for next year.

HSE is now accepting applications for the competition for increased state academic scholarships for outstanding academic, research, public, cultural, creative or sports achievements. International students on full-tuition Russian government scholarships are eligible to apply.
