Medal of the Judicial Department at the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation ‘For Collaboration’, second degree (2019);

Letter of Acknowledgement from the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science (2018);

Served as Executive Secretary of the Russian Council of School Olympiads (2007-2009); President of the Interregional Public Organization "Association of Teachers of Mathematics" (2011 - 2015); Executive Director of the All-Russian Student Forum (2014).

Member of the expert and competition commissions of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the Moscow Government: on the selection of candidates for scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation and scholarships of the Government of the Russian Federation, on awarding personal scholarships of the Moscow Government, on the competitive selection of projects in a number of areas outlined in the Federal Targeted Programme for the Development of Education (2014 - 2016).

At different times, Mr. Anisimov served on a number of public councils, including: the public council of the Moscow Department of Education (2014 - 2016) and the public council under the Education and Science Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation (2017 - present)

Member of the Supervisory Board of the 'Volnoe Delo' charitable foundation;

Member of the coordination council of ASI Go Global;

Member of the board of the Leading Universities Association.

In 2019, based on the results of the XII Congress of the Russian Rectors Union, he was elected to the board of the Russian Rectors Union. Also in 2019, he was elected to the executive board of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU). In May 2021, he became the chairman of the Primorsky regional branch of the Russian society ‘Znanie’.

Nikita Anisimov was born on February 20, 1978 in Khimki (Moscow region). 

In 1998, he graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). 

In 2001, he defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (PhD).

From 2002 to 2013, he worked at MSU in the following positions: Leading Specialist, Department Head, Deputy Vice Rector, Deputy Chair of the Central Admissions Committee, Director of the Institute of Retraining and Continuing Education, Vice Rector.

From 2007 to 2009, Nikita Anisimov served as Executive Secretary of the Russian Council of School Olympiads.

From 2013 to 2016, he held positions of Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, First Vice Rector, and Acting Rector at the University of Mechanical Engineering (Moscow).

From August 2016 to June 2021, Nikita Anisimov was Rector of the Far Eastern Federal University.

Starting July 2021, he heads HSE University.

Nikita Anisimov Appointed Acting Rector of HSE University

On July 2, Mr Anisimov was introduced to the HSE Academic Council at its meeting at HSE campus in Pokrovka. Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Yaroslav Kuzminov, HSE University Academic Supervisor, and HSE University President Alexander Shokhin took part in the meeting.
