On April 13, 2023, a session “Psychological problems of digitalization” was held as a part of the XXIV Yasin(April) Conference, in which four employees of the Center for Sociocultural Research took part.

The 24^th Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development  (hereinafter the '24^th Yasin Conference' or the 'Conference') was held at the HSE from April 4 to 14. As part of the thematic areas of the 24^th Yasin Conference, the laboratory also made its reports on new research results.

On April 14, at the seminar "Modern Demography", representatives of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Doctor of Economics Irina E. Kalabikhina and Mikhail Maksimov, a master's student, talked about the relationship between women's life expectancy loss during the pandemic years and various demographic and social determinants.

Mariya Molodchik and Egor Ivanov presented the study "IT adoption and industry dynamics", which focuses on assessing the effect of industry environment on value obtained from IT implementation.

Senior Researcher of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration Maria Yudina participated in the discussion at the International Webinar on AI organized by Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC).

At the Yasin (April) HSE University conference, a round table was held on the possibilities of knowledge exchange between Russia and Africa in the field of digitalization of public administration. Head of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public AdministrationEvgeny Styrin delivered a report «Digital Transformation in Russian Public Sector: Digital Solutions Development and Experience Transfer».

The Human Capital Multidisciplinary Research Centre, established in 2020 and coordinated by HSE University, recently held a session of the International Supervisory Board and presented work results for the period of 2020-2022 along with plans for 2023-2025, including fundamental and applied research in the field of human development, creation of unique empirical databases for the development of evidence-based social and economic policies, and the introduction of digital approaches in humanities and social sciences.

On April 7, the HSE Expert Council presented letters of gratitude.
