Frontiers in Neuroinformatics (impact-factor 3.87) has published the paper "NFBLab — A Versatile Software for Neurofeedback and Brain-Computer Interface Research" by Nikolai Smetanin, Ksenia Volkova, Stanislav Zabodayev, Mikhail Lebedev and Alexei Ossadtchi. This research was funded by Megagrant #14.0641.31.0003. Lead scientist: Mikhail Lebedev.

Some of the ICSID researchers took part in The second Ghent Russia colloquium "Russia's political economy since 1992: Back to the future?" that was held at Ghent University (Belgium) on December 11-12, 2018. The  topics discussed focused primarily on Russian studies.

On December 20th, the Master's programme “Applied Social Psychology” and the International Laboratory for Socio-Cultural Research held the 5th “All Cultures Day”. It is an annual holiday for the whole multinational community of students and teachers of the HSE.

International laboratory of stochastic algorithms and high-dimensional inference (HDI Lab) invites applications for postdoctoral research positions in the field of high-dimensional probability and statistics as well as their fruitful applications. It is expected that the appointed candidates will take an active part in the project aimed at development and analysis of new efficient computational statistical algorithms for high-dimensional and challenging statistical problems like uncertainty quantification for MCMC algorithms, Bayesian inference, covariance estimation, estimation of barycenters etc. Particularly promising will be the research at the junction of the main topics of this project

The paper "Legal Mobilization in Russia: How Organizations of Lawyers Can Support Social Changes", by Andrei Yakovlev and Anton Kazun has been accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed journal Crime, Law and Social Change.
