Sayantan Roy is the newest member of the International Laboratory for Logic, Linguistics and Formal Philosophy. In this interview, he shares stories about his father as his first teacher, the ideas that reshaped his view of logic, and the kindness he's encountered from people in his new home.

The journal Brain Topography has published an article by a research team from the Federal Center for Brain and Neurotechnologies, the N.V. The International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration (The Laboratory) of the HSE University held a seminar with the participation of representatives of government authorities. During the seminar, the Laboratory's experts presented their reports.

XV International Conference "Foresight and Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy" took place in Moscow on 12-14 November 2025. Experts from various countries discussed whether classical forecasting methods are truly powerless against "wild cards" predictions and which trends will transform labor market, economy, and our understanding of humanity tomorrow.

On November 12–13, 2025, the HSE University hosted the conference “The Second Demographic Readings in Memory of Anatoly Vishnevsky: The Theory of Demographic Transition and the Future of the Population of Russia and the World,” timed to coincide with the 90th birthday of the outstanding Russian demographer Anatoly Vishnevsky.

From November 8 to 11, Anna Daviy, a junior research fellow at the International Laboratory for Economics of Intangible Assets at HSE Perm, participated in the work of the 8th International Conference “International Conference on Entrepreneurship for Sustainability & Impact” (ESI), held under the theme “Frontier Technologies for Resilient Economies.” The event brought together scientists and experts from all over the world to discuss how advanced technologies — from artificial intelligence and digital finance to climate solutions and logistics — affect economic, social, and ethical aspects of development. The conference included four days of intensive work, seven panel discussions and presentations by seven keynote speakers.

The 13th International Scientific Conference "Kinetics and Mechanism of Crystallization. Crystallization and New Generation Materials" was held in Ivanovo from September 15 to 19, 2025. It was organized by the G.A. Krestov Institute of Solution Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Ivanovo State University of Chemical Technology.
