From 9 to 22 August, Ekaterina Maklasova, an employee of the Center for Sociocultural Research and lecturer of the master’s program in Applied Social Psychology, took part in the IPSA – HSE Summer School for Methods of Political and Social Research, organized in an online format by the International Association of Political Science and the National Research University High School of Economics.

A staff fellow of IL DSA and Department of Fundamental Mathematics took part in 8th Europian Congress of Mathematics.

The 10^th Jubilee ICSID Conference “Political Economy in a Changing World” for the second year running was successfully held online on June 7-10. This time the event was particularly big so the Conference organizers had to include extra day to accommodate all papers.

On May 13, the regular seminar of the Modern Demography series was held. At the seminar, Inna Daniliva (Research Fellow of the International laboratory for population and health NRU HSE, Research Scientist of the Laboratory of demographic data of Max Planck Institute for demographic research) the topic "The issues of temporal consistency of cause-of-death data within the ICD-10 period"

At the end of the April of 2021 the staff of the international laboratory DSA and students of the Faculty of Informatics, Mathematics, and Computer Science took part in the conference in Saratov.

A panel session on “Modernizing Welfare in Russia and Other Post-Soviet States: Deinstitutionalization, Inclusion, and Agency” was successfully organized and held by the International Laboratory of Social Integration Studies (ILSIS) at the XXII April International Scientific Conference on Economic and Social Development to be held on 21 April, 2021 via Microsoft Team Platform in order to interact with presenters and participants from different parts of the world.

On April 22, 2021, Maksim Murakaev, an employee of the laboratory, participated in a workshop about scientific communications for employees of international laboratories, organized by the PR block of the Higher School of Economics.
