The dates of the Fifth annual school for young specialists "Active and passive methods of brain-mapping" have been announced.
During the 2018 AMLaP in Berlin it was announced that our Centre and CCCP group have been honoured with hosting next AMLaP Conference in Moscow 6th to 8th September 2019.
On September 14, researchers of the International Laboratory for Logic, Linguistics and Formal Philosophy took part in the First Congress “History and Philosophy of Science in the Time of Change” of the Russian Society for the History and Philosophy of Science.
On Wednesday, September 19 the all-Russian seminar "Mathematical methods of decision analysis in economics, finance and politics" was held. A. Karpov gave a lecture on "On the Number of Separable Preference Profiles".
The Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies, Uppsala University and the British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies hosted a two-day conference that was held at Uppsala University in the middle of September 2018. ICSID team members Fabian Burkhardt, Noa Buckley and David Szakonyi took part in the Conference and presented their papers.

A new series of the ICSID-CSDSI regular seminar on Diversity and Development started on September 11, 2018. Anand Sokhey's presentation "Beyond Thoughts and Prayers: The Christian Nationalism of the Gun Control Debate" opened the seminar series this new academic year. The event was held jointly with the seminar “Political Economy” and Economic Development and Growth Research Group.
