James Kung’s keynote speech at the 2nd WCCE

The Second World Congress of Comparative Economics “1917 –2017: Revolution and Evolution in Economic Development” was held at National Research University Higher School of Economics (St. Petersburg, Russia) on June 15 – 17, 2017, following the first successful meeting in Rome in 2015.

Lectures on "Networks: A descriptive outline & a bit of theory" and "Networks: Some recent research" by Professor Valenciano were held.

DeCAn lab organized a visit of Professor Federico Valenciano from Departamento de Economía Aplicada IV Universidad del País Vasco (Bilbao, Spain) to our university. During the visit Professor Valenciano gavi a course of lectures on network analysis.

Role of Political Parties in the Euromaidan Protests of 2013-2014

Julian G. Waller, Ph.D Candidate at the Department of Political Science at the George Washington University and ICSID Visiting Researcher, presented his research on "Popular Perceptions and the De Facto Role of Political Parties in the Euromaidan Protests of 2013-2014" at another meeting of the regular ICSID-CSDSI Seminar on June 6, 2017. The event was held jointly with the HSE seminar on political economy.

Nemtsov, MD, the head of the department of Moscow research institute of psychiatry of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation, presented a paper on alcohol consumption in Russia in 1965-2015.
