Asian and African Horizons: Interdependence and Competition in the New World Order
On April 26, a conference for young Orientalists and Africanists will be held on the basis of the educational program of the National Research University Higher School of Economics Socio-Economic and Political Development of Modern Asia". Speakers will be able to present their researches in several areas - social and economic development in the countries of modern Asia, features of the business environment and economic and technological sovereignty in Asian and African countries.

From 12 to 14 October, MGIMO hosted the international conference "Russia and ASEAN in the Asia-Pacific Region: Dynamics of Interaction" as part of the XV RAMI Convention. This conference, organized by the ASEAN Centre of MGIMO, is the leading academic discussion forum in Russia in the field of ASEAN studies and Russian-ASEAN relations.

Master's Thesis Defense 2023
On June 15, 2023, second-year students successfully defended their master's theses, marking the culmination and the main result of their studies on the program. Multifaceted and topical research projects were presented during the defense, shedding light on the political, economic, social, and cultural spheres of Asian, Middle Eastern, and African countries.
