Financial Markets and Institutions
The Master’s programme in Financial Markets and Institutions has been developed for economics and mathematics majors with the aim of training highly qualified financial managers and investors, who are equipped with the technological knowledge and tools necessary for working with Big Data, machine learning and artificial intelligence in analyzing and making investment and financial decisions.
The two-year full-time programme is taught in Russian and English. Furthermore, its curriculum meets the standards of the international Association of Charted Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Financial Markets Association's Сouncil for Professional Qualifications Development.

Experiential learning, project based learning and internships are part of mandatory components at the Higher School of Economics both for masters’ and bachelor students. Students acquire professional skills and networks withit the field of their majors. Work study at HSE University, including RAs and TAs, can be counted as an internship.
