"Bayesian Data Analysis" course is over

The course "Bayesian Data Analysis", conducted by the professor of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences of the University of Ljubljana Erik Strumbelj, has come to an end.

In the course of training on this course, the students of the master's program acquired skills in working with Bayesian linear regression and mastered the methods for its regularization. Erik Strumbelj kindly provided a detailed interpretation of the Monte Carlo methods for the Markov chain scheme and conducted a master class on the use of STAN software in the Bayesian output procedures. Students got an idea about the new methodology of data analysis and are ready to use Bayesian models in scientific activity and at work.
