MASNA student became a scholar of the V. Potanin
Ekaterina Ivanova, a second-year student at MASNA, won the Vladimir Potanin scholarship competition.
This year the competition was held in two stages: correspondence and full-time. The first round consisted of writing several essays on motivation, leadership, and a master's thesis.
Ekaterina: "It's better not to postpone anything for later, as the volume is decent."
After checking the works for anti-plagiarism and a general assessment, they formed a list of participants in the face-to-face selection. The second stage took place in the format of a business game and solving cases. This year, the nominees had to play a strategy game focusing on mathematics, talk about the importance of your profession, answer quiz questions and suggest improvements to social projects.
Ekaterina: "It was an interesting experience since it is not so easy to prove ourselves in the online format, sometimes we could not find a common language with the participants, and partly everyone spoke in chorus and as a result did not even have time to make a move in the game. Nevertheless, I believe that the organizers managed to carry out everything at the highest level. I would advise the participants to be themselves at the "face-to-face" stage and show their strengths and enjoy themselves. It is important to have a good portfolio to qualify for the second stage. "
We sincerely congratulate Ekaterina on her victory and wish her further academic and professional success.
