people attended the lecture marathon ‘Ideas 2020: Journey into the World of the Future’.
The lecture marathon, organized by the Higher School of Economics in collaboration with the Polytechnic Museum and the Helmholtz Association (Germany), was held last Sunday at DI Telegraph. Throughout the day, leading academics – professors and experts from the Higher School of Economics – presented the results of their research on the future of humanity to a wider audience. Six lectures were given in such areas as ‘The City and Transport’, ‘Energy’, ‘Medicine’, and ‘Technology’.

As 2015 drew to a close, a panel of qualified judges was busy deciding on the results of HSE’s Student Research Competition. Out of nearly a thousand submissions in 17 different fields, a jury selected 94 prize recipients, all of which demonstrate how broad and complex the research interests of HSE’s students are.
