Main objective: to increase the level of integration of the HSE Lyceum and the HSE Distributed Lyceum into the educational, scientific, and student life of the university. Making the HSE Lyceum a centre for professional communication among subject teachers in Moscow.

1. Increasing the integration of faculties into the work of the HSE Lyceum and the HSE Distributed Lyceum

2. Improving the effectiveness of current forms of faculty day implementation

3. Increasing the integration of teachers and students of the HSE Lyceum and the HSE Distributed Lyceum into the academic, scientific, cultural, and student life of HSE University

4. Coordinating the HSE Lyceum with the schools of the HSE Distributed Lyceum, facilitating interaction between the HSE Lyceum and HSE University base schools and partner teachers

5. Participating in the expert committee on olympiad benefits and individual achievements for applicants to HSE University bachelor’s (Specialist) degrees

Student for a Day: HSE University Holds Open House

A university-wide open day for undergraduate and specialist applicants took place at HSE building on Pokrovsky Bulvar on March 3. In one day, applicants and their parents got acquainted with HSE University campuses, faculties, degree programmes and pre-university projects. Faculty and staff, as well as HSE students, spoke about the admission process, studies, and the prospects for university graduates.

According to the decision of Sergey Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, fourteen HSE staff members were officially recognised by Moscow Government, with the awards being timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the university.

On December 20, 2016, the ZIL Cultural Centre hosted this year’s Golden HSE awards ceremony. This year saw several significant changes to the award rules: new nominations have appeared, many of them were divided into categories for different groups of employees — all to help ensure HSE was able to express its gratitude to a larger number of worthy candidates.
