Update of Longitudinal RLMS-HSE Dataset for Individuals
The dataset update caused by continuation of work on harmonization of RLMS-HSE data, that is, comparison and adjustment of answers to questions repeated in different waves for repeatedly participating respondents. This time harmonization affected variables in the blocks on education and professionfor 30th and 31th waves of the survey. The file have been updated in formats for IBM SPSS Statistics and STATA.

The participants spoke about their scientific plans that they plan to implement within the framework of the RSG. The general project for 2023 is called «Evaluation of the impact of macroshocks on socio-economic processes in the regions of Russia (on the example of COVID-19)».

Although Russia was one of the first countries to develop a vaccine against COVID-19 and launched an immunisation campaign in 2021, its vaccination rates remained low for a long time. By October 2021, only 36% of Russian adults were vaccinated, many of whom were compelled by their employers to do so. Having examined the factors contributing to low trust in vaccination among Russians, HSE economists suggest measures to improve vaccination uptake. The paper is published in Vaccine.

Our next CHEMP seminar will take place on February 13 at 17:00.
There you will have a chance to learn about the health shocks caused by the environment and effects that myocardial infractions have on health. The former topic will be presented by Stepan Aleskandrov, while the latter will be discussed by Lyubov Chigirinskaya (both are volunteers at CHEMP). In addition, Darya Kiryagina will also join the seminar as she will be presenting new estimations of health inequality indicators and their decomposition from RLMS data.
