Course Syllabus

Abstract

A good manager must constantly develop his skills in analyzing the market and building the right strategies for the company's development. This course is a continuation of the Game theory and Industrial Organization course. The course is aimed at studying the main directions of strategic management, as well as studying the theories through real cases of companies.
Learning Objectives

Learning Objectives

  • Prepare students to evaluate project management practices
  • Outline how strategic management can be used in real company cases
  • Explain how the economic, political/legal, financial environment and global trends affect the conduct of strategic management.
  • Develop the ability to analyse the market and identify its vulnerabilities
  • To develop an understanding of how firms develop business strategies
  • To use examples to show exactly how firms build business strategies
  • Prepare students to build the right business strategies for themselves
