On 26-27 November 2020, the VIII International Scientific Conference of Young Orientalists on the theme "East Asia: Past, Present and Future" was held at the Institute of Far East Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences in online format.

The XXVII International Conference of students, postgraduates and young scientists "Lomonosov" was held online at the Moscow State University from 10 to 24 November 2020. 1st year students of the of the “Socio-economic and political development of modern Asia" master's program actively participated in this conference.

Recently, the student of our programme Valentina Popova has returned from a trip to South Korea. This year she had a chance to participate in the program organized by the Ministry of Unification of South Korea.
