Registration for the early Master's degree Invitations at HSE
From 1st February to 31st March, HSE University will accept documents for the “Early Invitation to Admission” competition for Russian students. The early invitation competition is one of the ways that students can enlist at the master’s level, bypassing the summer admission campaign. This competition aims to facilitate and boost the certainty of highly-motivated final-year students to be enrolled in the “Population and Development” master’s educational program.
European Forum Alpbach 2020
From the “Reception” to the Forum Alpbach Network (FAN) Booth in the “Lounge” on Hopin, a student of the Population and Development programme, Goodnews Israel Oshiogbele, had a great maiden experience at the European Forum Alpbach (EFA) 2020 which held virtually from August 23rd to September 3rd, 2020.

International mobility stories: Haider Khan Munir
Our masters student, Haider Munir Khan from Pakistan took part in the semester exchange program for fall term 2019. Out of a vast amount of available exchange possibilities in universities across the world, he chose Akita International University.
Ambassadors of the Russian Language in the World
Our student, Vazgen Khansanamyan, took a part in the educational expedition of the international volunteer program "Ambassadors of the Russian Language in the World" for the 7th time. This time he traveled to Kyrgyzstan from November 24 to December 2. The expedition was organized by the Pushkin Institute and the Kyrgyz Economic University.
European Youth Forum General Assembly
Our student, Vera Syrokvash, attended the European Youth Forum General Assembly, which was held November 22-24 at the European Youth Capital-2019 Novi Sad, Serbia.
The workshops by Robert Gal, Hungarian Demographic Research Institute
At the end of November, Robert Gal, Senior Research Fellow at the Hungarian Demographic Research Institute, gave workshops for the students "Population and Development" on the National Transfer Account (NTA).
Oxfam Workshop on Violence against Women
On October 3rd and 4th Zorica Skakun, a gender coordinator for Oxfam GB in Yemen who provides support and leadership to ensure women's rights, presented two workshops on various aspects of violence against women for students of the programme "Population and Development".
‘Academicus Modus’ Field Research and Education School at the Voronovo Study Centre HSE
Love Umesi as one of the Winners of the 2017 Higher School of Economics NIRS Research Paper Competition was invited among all to the ‘‘Academicus Modus’’ Field Research and Education School at the Voronovo Study Centre HSE, from 2nd to 4th March 2018, where the participants were privileged to attend courses on different aspects of academic skills development
