M.Y. Shkurnikov spoke about the current projects of the laboratory and his vision of research development in the field of microfluidic technologies

On October 25, 2024, a lecture was held by the outstanding Turkish economist Ahmet Alkan, one of the leading experts in the field of game theory, matching and auctions. He holds the position of professor at the prestigious Turkish Sabanji University. Professor Alkan is also a member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences and a member of the European Science Foundation. For his work, he has been awarded several times by Turkish universities and scientific communities.

The EyeFeatures library for analysing eye movements developed by the Laboratory for Social and Cognitive Informatics within the framework of the strategic project AI-technologies for human has been released for the first time! Now everyone can install and try the library on their own computer.

On October 28–30, 2024, the autumn school ‘Advances in Decision Analysis’ took place at HSE University, organised by the HSE International Centre of Decision Choice and Analysis. Among its speakers were prominent Russian and international researchers, including Nobel laureate in Economics and centre member Eric Maskin. Professor Fuad Aleskerov, head of the Centre and of the Department of Mathematics at the HSE Faculty of Economic Sciences, shared insights about the school.

The conference will gather specialists in equivariant topology, hyperbolic geometry and modern methods of data analysis.
