The 32nd International Mathematical Olympiad (IMC) was held in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, from July 28 to August 3, 2025.

The official HSE University website has published an article titled "New Models for Disease Research: From Petri Dish to Organs-on-a-Chip," focusing on the work of the Molecular Physiology Laboratory at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology in developing innovative approaches to organ-on-chip modeling and researching preeclampsia — one of the most dangerous pregnancy complications.

HSE University has launched a few strategic technological projects aimed at achieving the institution’s target development model. These projects focus on creating a portfolio of innovative products and services that fall under three key areas: socio-economic, science, and technology foresight, as well as 6G communication technologies and artificial intelligence.

From June 25 to July 2, the All-Russian Conference "Molecular Dynamics 2025" was held in Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk. The conference covered a wide range of topics, from supercomputer modeling technologies to applications of atomistic modeling methods in various fields of physics, chemistry, and biology. Fundamental issues concerning the prospects for the development of this research area were also discussed. The conference attracted considerable attention, with over 80 presentations, both oral and poster, presented. One of the main ideas of the conference was unlimited question-and-answer time, allowing for a wide range of topics to be discussed.

Young researchers from the Laboratory of Molecular Mechanisms of Longevity have taken part in a study of the microRNA profile in women with menopause‑related insomnia, identifying significant differences in the level of miR‑412‑5p. This microRNA and its targets may become a promising focus for developing new treatments for sleep disorders during menopause

The Molecular Physiology Laboratory at HSE University, together with the HSE.Tech portal, has produced a two-part video for the “±10 Minutes.HSE.Tech” series. The episodes explain organ-on-a-chip technology, its operating principles, medical applications, and the prospects of biochips for personalized therapy and artificial organs.

Research intern of the IL LogLinFP Arnold Grigoryan gave a talk titled 'Justifying Homotopical Logic Two Ways' at the International Conference 'Logic, Algebra and Truth Degrees' (LATD 2025), which was held from July 21 to 25, 2025, in Siena, Italy, bringing together researchers in the fields of mathematical logic, algebra, and their applications.
