We also asked the Head of the Chinese language section of our program, Anna Antonova, to tell us about how the contest went:

What do you think of the level of the participants? What would you wish to the current and future contestants and the Programme?

The students prepared for the event entirely on their own: they chose a poem, musical accompaniment and visuals. All members of the jury would like to note that all contestants approached the task very responsibly and creatively. Thanks to this, we had the opportunity to listen various poems in Chinese, and were pleasantly surprised by the artistry of the participants.

I also would like to express my gratitude to the students of the third Chinese group (CH23) Maria Latysheva, Mikhail Korotaev and Danila Golikov for their help in organizing and holding the event.

I would like to see more creative contests held by the Programme in the future, where students could reveal their potential, apply the knowledge gained in class and have a good time.
