In December 2017 Saba Safdar (PhD, Professor, Psychology Department, Director of the Centre for Cross-Cultural Research, University of Guelph, Canada) gave several lectures for the HSE master students of Applied Social Psychology programme as a part of the course “Cross-cultural psychology”.

On December 21^st  Master's programme in Applied Social Psychology organized the 4^th annual All Cultures Day at the School of Psychology. International students from many faculties and schools, including Preparatory year students, gathered to celebrate HSE’s multicultural environment and the Russian New Year.

The Fund awards the prize for creating outstanding and innovative English-language courses that get the support of an academic supervisor.

On November 7-8th Higher School of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences hosted the 1st International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists "To the Alliance of the Social Sciences: Theory and Practice of Interdisciplinary Cooperation."

In March 2017, International Olympiad Competitions will be held for perspective students interested in studying in Master’s programmes at HSE University. All current undergraduate students and recent university graduates students interested in pursuing a Master’s degree are invited to participate.

For the winter semester of 2017 “Applied Social Psychology” introduces two new courses - “Environmental psychology” and “Abnormal and Clinical Psychology: Social and Cultural Contexts”

Although it took some time to adjust initially, after only a short period studying in HSE’s Applied Social Psychology programme, Ghana native Ebenezer Yao Wepari is certain that attending HSE has been among the best decisions he has made in life.

November 29^th the Winter School of the HSE Faculty of Social Studies was held outside Moscow city. It was a chance for prospective master’s students to learn about the opportunities of HSE master’s programs and their study process, to meet the teachers and ask relevant questions.
