Are you interested in taking your education to the next level and becoming an expert in your field? Apply to one of HSE’s Master’s programmes. International admissions for the 2019-2020 academic year are now open. HSE offers both English-taught and Russian-taught programmes. Successful applicants may be eligible to receive a full or partial scholarship.

The new Master's Programme ‘Digital Humanities’ now welcomes applicants for its first cohort, which will begin in the 2019-2020 academic year. Programme Head Daniil Skorinkin discusses how digital methods empower researchers, what the programme will cover, and why both humanities scholars and techies are welcome the programme.

International students applying to HSE’s undergraduate programmes can receive scholarships that fully or partially cover their tuition costs. Some of these scholarships are awarded based on entrance exam results. Now we have an online calculator that will help you determine what scholarship you qualify for when  applying to one of HSE’s Bachelor's programmes.

People have already submitted their applications to Master’s and Bachelor’s programmes at HSE University. So far, students from 113 countries have expressed their interest in studying at HSE University. For the 2019/2020 academic year, HSE University is offering 10 Bachelor’s programmes and 31 Master’s programmes taught entirely in English. The strongest applicants will be eligible for full or partial scholarships. For Master’s programmes, applications will be evaluated on the strength of the portfolios that can be submitted online via an applicant’s personal account on HSE University’s website.

The new HSE Master’s programme  ‘Law of International Trade, Finance and Economic Integration’ invites applications for the coming 2019-2020 academic year. Qualified students who wish to specialize in international economic law and work in international environments, such as international organizations, international law firms, and international business corporations, are encouraged to apply.

The Master's programme ‘International News Production’, which will begin admission in the summer of 2019, will focus on non-standard approaches to covering world events and teaching new media technologies. The HSE Art and Design School is pleased to announce new English-language undergraduate programmes in Communication Design and Environmental Design. International applicants are invited to apply for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Faculty of Computer Science of HSE and Skoltech are pleased to announce the launch of the second joint Olympiad in Statistical Learning Theory (SLT). The competition will be open to students specializing in the fields related to Applied Mathematics and Informatics. Following a pre-selection phase (application details below), the Olympiad final will be held at Skoltech on April 6-7, 2019.
