‘HSE University is one of the first Russian universities to enter the online education market. Today, we can see that demand for this kind of learning is growing rapidly, and we wanted to develop in this field in order to increase the variety and accessibility of higher education. We have agreed on a strategic partnership with VK and Skillbox. Now it is important to work to ensure Russia’s technological sovereignty. This also applies to online learning. Our collaboration with Skillbox is a step towards achieving this goal. The new online platform will allow users to receive a high-quality education. We hope that it will become a platform for broadcasting the unique expertise the scientific community and leading practitioners, and that it will encourage users to develop intellectually and professionally.’
A number of other leading Russian universities also agreed to take part in the project.

I am confident that the modern learning format combined with the availability of verified content will be relevant to many users. We are happy to be launching this project with strong partners. We hope that new educational institutions will join the project and we believe that our initiative will encourage improvement in the availability of high-quality education in Russia and the development of modern learning formats.’
