On November 27, Viktoriia Denisova made a presentation at the Colloquia Logicae seminar at Unicamp University, Brazil.

During the session “Microfluidic Technologies: Will Organ-on-Chip Replace In Vivo Studies?”, Evgeny Knyazev presented the laboratory’s research projects, including:
Development of an in vitro intestine-on-a-chip model with physiologic permeability characteristics;
RSF grant project: Microfluidic placenta-on-a-chip model for the study of preeclampsia.

Can human life expectancy be more than 100 years? How do heat and cold waves affect mortality? Do the elderly experience isolation from society? Does alcohol-related mortality differ by region of Russia? These and other issues were discussed on November 8 at the international conference "Current issues of Russian Demography" organized by International Laboratory for Population and Health.

Ivan Kotlov, a researcher at the laboratory, presented the report "Modeling the suitability of the habitats of the Central Asian leopard (Panthera pardus ciscaucasica) in the Chechen Republic."

Viktoriia Denisova, intern researcher IL LLFF made two presentations at the University of Campinas "Unicamp", Brazil, where she is undergoing an internship.

Laboratory's Deputy Head Elena Artemenko is invited as a plenary speaker to the 8th International Conference "General Theoretical and Typological Problems of Linguistics", that will be held at Altay region this year.

On November 7, 2024, the second seminar of the series "Spatial and temporal dynamics of a stand based on long-term measurements and remote information on the example of the Central Forest Biosphere Reserve" was held

On October 28-30, the International Center for Analysis and Decision Selection of the Higher School of Economics hosted the Autumn School "Advances in Decision Analysis" with the participation of well-known leading foreign specialists Michel Grabisch (University of Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne), Ahmet Alkan (Sabanci University, Turkey), Arunava Sen (Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi), Vladimir Makarenkov (University of Quebec, Montreal), Eric Maskin (Harvard University, HSE), Mario Guarracino (Cassino University, HSE), domestic leading specialists Dzhangir Dzhangirov, Andrey Vashevnik (BEAC, Russia), as well as the staff of the center.

On October 25, 2024, a lecture was held by the outstanding Turkish economist Ahmet Alkan, one of the leading experts in the field of game theory, matching and auctions. He holds the position of professor at the prestigious Turkish Sabanji University. Professor Alkan is also a member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences and a member of the European Science Foundation. For his work, he has been awarded several times by Turkish universities and scientific communities.

The HSE University International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration organized an international online conference titled "Digital Governance and Public Administration: Interdisciplinary Insights from Research". Evgeny Styrin, the Head of the laboratory, served as moderator, and the presentations generated great interest among attendees.
