A personal exhibition of Alexander Dzhikia, Professor the HSE School of Art and Design and Supervisor of the School’s track in Environmental Design, is now open at HSE ART GALLERY. HSE News Service spoke with the artist about how to search for one’s own style and why our environment needs to be designed by professionals.

First-year students of the Faculty of Communications, Media, and Design developed a bot that recommends quiet spots in the city for Muscovites searching for a place to sit and relax. In order to find a peaceful, secluded place within the Garden Ring, all you have to do is add Tired Muscovite in your Telegram app and activate it with a special command.

This year HSE University rose six positions to take 17^th place in the QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia University Ranking (QS EECA).

HSE University has taken the first place in the ranking of entrepreneurial universities and business schools by Expert Analysis Centre. The ranking’s evaluation criteria include startups that were launched by alumni of economics or business programmes.

HSE University’s Executive Programme in Sports Management held its fifth graduation ceremony on campuses in Moscow and St. Petersburg. This year, the programme awarded Master’s degrees to 45 graduates who completed final projects that focused on the advancement of the sports industry in Russia.

This academic year, HSE University will begin admissions to its new online Master's programme in Data Science, which will be offered on Coursera, the world’s leading online learning platform. The application deadline for admission to the programme is December 6. Courses begin in February. Upon the successful completion of the programme, students will receive a Master’s degree from HSE University, which is internationally recognized.

HSE University is pleased to announce the relaunch of its popular webinar series, Megacities of the future 2:0. New Challenges. The series focuses on issuesof modern urban development and is team taught by HSE University professors and lecturers from different faculties. The webinars consider urban developmental issues through the lenses of a range of fields, including Arts and Design, Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics and Communication Systems, Economics and Management, Urban Studies, and Russian Studies.

Registration for the Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project for international applicants to Russian Master’s programmes is open until December 18. The competition consists of two online rounds. The first round is a portfolio competition.
