On October 15, well-known contemporary Swiss poster artists will give lectures in HSE’s Faculty of Design building. The lecture marathon will take place as part of the Weltformat Swiss posters exhibition, which is being organized with HSE’s Faculty of Design.
From October 9-14, the HSE will become one of the screening venues for the 360° 4th Contemporary Science Film Festival. The festival offers a platform for films that talk about scientific and academic research in an accessible way – comprehensible for a general audience. Agreements have been signed on a student exchange programme between the HSE and Finland’s Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT). The documents also call for the creation of dual-degree master’s programmes between the two universities.

On October 3, 2014, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts is opening the exhibition ‘British Design: From William Morris to the Digital Revolution,’ prepared by the Moscow Design Museum. The exhibition will feature an educational programme, in which the HSE Faculty of Design is partnering with the two museums.

Three scholarships are being offered to HSE postgraduate students by the FMIM Centre for Qualitative Finance, which was created this summer by HSE’s International Laboratory of Quantitative Finance together with London-based investment company FMIM.
