In December 2020, the HSE eLearning Office, together with the global online platform Coursera, will host the eSTARS International eLearning Conference.

The third international eSTARS (eLearning Stakeholders and Researchers Summit) Conference will be held online from December 1-2. This year's summit participants—researchers and practitioners, experts and opinion leaders, education leaders and representatives of the business community—will discuss educational changes and global trends in the digital economy.

eSTARS brings together international stakeholders, specialists and researchers of online education from all over the world. The conference provides a platform for representatives of the professional community not only to share effective distance learning methods, but above all, to engage in an interdisciplinary discussion of online education as a sociocultural, philosophical, economic, psychological, and communication phenomenon.

The eSTARS 2020 programme will cover a wide range of issues, from changes in higher education and the impact of new technology on traditional (classical) education to the attitude of potential employers to distance learning and the role of universities in developing the skills necessary to succeed in the digital age.

On the first day of the conference, participants will discuss the administrative, organizational, and administrative aspects of online education with top government officials and business trendsetters. The second day will be devoted to recent research developments, studies, and analytics.

You can register for the conference and follow the updates on the official website of the Summit.
