At a meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Statistical Committee, HSE ISSEK researchers Gulnara Abdrakhmanova and Anna Demyanova presented a system for measuring the full life cycle of AI technologies, which allows not only to track the development and implementation of AI, but also to assess its impact on the social sphere.

Within the framework of the session "The rights of young scientists to their developments: how not to drown in bureaucracy?", organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and O.E. Kutafin University, the issue of barriers and incentives for applied research carried out by young scientists was discussed.

On May 23-24, the 2nd international conference "Social Work & Social Research" was held, where employees of the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research took part. The conference was held in Baku (Azerbaijan) at the University of Azerbaijan.

On May 21, 2025, a joint meeting of the ILSIR and the HSE Department of Sociology was held, during which the preliminary defense of the ILSIR  postgraduate student Saikot Ghosh took place.

Elena Artemenko and Yadviga Sinyawskaya presented 3 papers at the conference organised by the International Communication association.

From June 3 to 10, the “Application of Artificial Intelligence to Solve Labor Market Problems” hackathon was held at the HSE University in Perm. The event brought together students and young professionals from various universities. The results were summarized and the winners were awarded at the workshop "AI for Solving Applied Problems," where the application of AI in the HR sphere was discussed. The hackathon was organized by the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy and the Laboratory for Labour Market Studies.

On June 17, the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology at HSE University hosted the conference "Experimental and Informational Approaches to Pathological States Research." The event featured participation from a laboratory staff member, Olga Chebotareva, a third-year graduate student in Molecular Biology, who presented the report "Microfluidic Modeling of Trophoblast Invasion: An Experimental Approach to Studying Preeclampsia Pathogenesis."

Researchers from HSE University and the Institute of Control Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences have proposed a new method of data analysis: tunnel clustering. It allows for the rapid identification of groups of similar objects and requires fewer computational resources than traditional methods. Depending on the data configuration, the algorithm can operate dozens of times faster than its counterparts. Thestudy was published in the journal Doklady Rossijskoj Akademii Nauk. On June 4, 2025, the International Laboratory for Population and Health held a seminar on "Spatial Differences in Mortality of the Elderly Population in Russia." The presentation was delivered by Bulat Shamsutdinov, a research assistant at the laboratory, who shared the findings of his dissertation research.

The articles in latest issue of the Foresight journal (V. 19, № 2) analyze factors that determine the effectiveness of innovative entrepreneurship ecosystems, new tools for assessing their prospects and developing a competence base.
