‘It is Impossible to Imagine a Similar Situation in Moscow’

On March 1st the deadline passed for HSE students to enroll for the Summer School on ‘Comparative Public Administration. Experience of Great Britain’run by London Metropolitan University . Pat Gray, Deputy Head of the Department of Law, Governance and International Relations, London Met, told us more about this project.

Evgeniy Salygin, Dean of the HSE Faculty of Law, told us about the specific features of legal education at the Higher School of Economics and the preparations for this year’s students’enrollment.

On December 17th the graduation ceremony for the HSE School of Russian Studies programme entitled took place at the HSE. For the last six months international students have been studying the specifics of Russian politics, economics and culture and have been acquainting themselves with the peculiarities of studying, working and living in Moscow.

Alexander Kamenskiy: ‘Teaching History Needs to Look Forward ’

Alexander Kamenskiy, Dean of the HSE Faculty of History which will open in the next academic year told us about the opportunities for improving the way history is taught, and changes in Russian education.

Interuniversity Globalization

On December 8th the final seminar in the video-course on ‘Human Rights in the Globalizing World’ took place at the HSE. This video conference was chaired by Nina Belyaeva, Head of the HSE Department of Public Policy, and John Dale, Professor at George Mason University, USA.
