The HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics and MTS are launching a joint workshop in which students will work at the intersection of communications network engineering, data analysis, and digital technologies. The project is designed as a practice-oriented learning format, enabling students to tackle real industry challenges alongside company engineers and MIEM specialists. Registration to participate in the workshop is open until April 15, 2026.

The HSE Academic Writing Centre is preparing a major celebration of its 15th anniversary—the international academic writing conference ‘Celebrate Writing with Us.’ So far, 282 participants from 19 countries have accepted the invitation.

The HSE Faculty of Humanities has held the fourth Terra Hominis conference, a scientific event for students and prospective researchers. This year, more than 400 participants and 200 attendees from different countries took part. The conference partners were the Main Information and Computer Centre of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Centre.

HSE University–St Petersburg and the Shanghai Dragons hockey club have signed a cooperation agreement. HSE University–St Petersburg students will be able to undertake internships at various units of the team, conduct sports research, and supplement their portfolios with international projects.

A team of scientists, including researchers from HSE University, has proposed a method for assessing stress resilience using physiological markers derived from wearable devices and saliva samples. The participants who adapted better to stress showed higher heart rate variability, higher zinc concentrations in saliva, and lower potassium levels.

Professors from HSE University–St Petersburg and researchers from Mexican universities discussed vectors for the development of higher education. The experts highlighted the important role of the academic community in promoting people's well-being.

An instructional seminar of the Open Doors International Olympiad has been held at HSE University. Approximately 100 representatives of 24 Russian universities involved in organising the olympiad took part in the event. The seminar focused on updating the participants’ profile maps, organising the work of methodological teams in a digital environment, and ensuring the quality of the methodological content for the olympiad.

In March 2026, an official meeting took place between a delegation from HSE University and delegations from Vietnam National University, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Embassy of Vietnam in the Russian Federation. The participants discussed key areas of cooperation that will help strengthen ties not only between the universities, but also between the two countries.
