HSE University to Hold Conference for Researchers Studying Medicine and Health
On December 3–5, 2026, HSE University in Moscow will host ‘Comorbid Field 3.0: Social Well-Being, Health, and Medicine in Multiple Contexts,’ an interdisciplinary scientific conference organised by the HSE Centre for Comparative Research on Social Well-Being together with the HSE University–St Petersburg School of Arts and Humanities, the Institute for Interdisciplinary Health Research at the European University at St Petersburg, and Sechenov University. Applications for participation are open until October 4.

HSE University and Library for Foreign Literature Sign Cooperation Agreement
HSE University and the Rudomino All-Russia State Library for Foreign Literature have agreed to cooperate. The relevant agreement was signed by HSE Senior Director Andrey Lavrov and General Director of the Library for Foreign Literature Marina Zakharenko. The agreement provides for joint educational, academic, and cultural projects.

In July 2026, second-year students of the HSE Faculty of Geography and Geoinformation Technologies conducted comprehensive mapping research at the Sochut Dendropark near the town of Stepanavan in Armenia. Here, centuries-old deciduous forests coexist with exotic coniferous plantings: Canadian hemlock, Himalayan cedar, and giant sequoias.

‘Balkan Hospitality Opens Doors’: Studying Dialects on the Verge of Extinction
Natalia Muravleva is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Humanities, conducts her research. Her internship in Serbia continued her long-standing study of dialects spoken by Macedonian settlers. Laboratory of Future Networks: HSE Telecommunications Research Institute Develops 5G/6G Research Testbed
The 5G/6G testbed at the HSE Telecommunications Research Institute is becoming a research platform, an educational laboratory, and a foundation for developing new software components for future networks. It makes it possible not only to observe how a mobile network operates, but also to change its operating conditions and measure the results, such as data-transmission speed, latency, errors, and radio-resource utilisation.
